Earlier in April this year, LG had officially announced the L80 dual SIM smartphone for Indonesia. Now LG India has quietly listed the handset on its official website for Rs 17,500. Note that the other two L III series handsets, LG L70 and the L90 are already available in India Rs 14,500 and Rs 17,499 respectively.At Rs 17,500, the LG L80 Dual is indeed a bit costly considering its hardware. The phone has 5-inch display with 800x480 pixel resolution which looks pale in front of its rivals offering HD display. The L80 Dual runs on a dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 mobile processor paired with 1 GB RAM. This dual SIM handset supports one 3G
network enabled SIM card inside.
Like the L70, the LG L80 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with company's proprietary Optimus UI on top of it. The smartphone has a 5 megapixel rear camera, 4 GB expandable storage and a 2540 mAh battery. There is an LED flash in the rear panel as well. This dual-SIM smartphone comes with 3G, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and FM radio. LG has incorporated the lockscreen unlocking feature - Knock Code in the L80 Dual as well.
