Wikipedia articles can now be browsed in full on Android Wear-powered smartwatches thanks to a new app called Attopedia.
The software features a 2D grid interface that lets the watch's tactile screen scroll up and down to access menus, or left and right to see more detail.

"In this project, I've thought more carefully about what the 'smartwatch internet' should look like, and designed a more intuitive, 2-dimensional grid-based interface for browsing Wikipedia," said developer Dheera Venkatraman.
"Although future implementation details of this type of UI may vary, it's something we need to start thinking about now."
The first wave of Android Wear devices launched this summer, with the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live leading the charge.
Attopedia is available as a free download from Google Play.
